NYC Pilates instructor and professional dancer Taylor Gordon launched two new series of Pilates workout videos on Amazon.com in 2017. The “Pilates for Beginners” and “Pilates and Yoga Fusion” videos help women tone their abs and improve their posture from anywhere they can stream online video.
Taylor’s approach to teaching applies the precision and accuracy of alignment to the joy of movement so that all clients meet their individual goals, whether that’s sculpting and toning muscles, recovering from an injury, or improving balance and flexibility. Through her workouts, viewers improve functional movement, develop deep core strength, and refine their ideal body aesthetic.
Taylor has over a decade of teaching and performing experience. She holds mat and apparatus certifications from Pilates Academy International where she now trains new teachers as a Certifying Instructor. She is an American Council on Exercise Group Fitness Instructor and Functional Training Specialist. Her dance credits include performances at Lincoln Center, Radio City Music Hall, The Kennedy Center, off-Broadway, in commercials, and on national and international tours.
Each of these new video series includes four 20-minute segments to be followed individually or in progression. A yoga mat/towel and stretch band are recommended, but most exercises can be done with just one’s own body weight. They are appropriate for all ages and levels of fitness.
